The California Computer Art (CCArt) Company Gallery

California Computer Art Company deals in fine art. We specialize in paintings that are originally drawn or created on a computer before they are transfered to a tangible medium such as paper or canvas. CCArt only offers paintings that have a demonstrable 'Original' and limited edition prints. CCArt is not interested in computer generated art, but Art that is created using a computer as the initial medium. Most paintings are created by the use of graphic pressure pads and take as much time, effort and skill as conventional oil and brush.

Depending on the complexity these drawings can take many months to complete. Whilst the majority of these paintings are offered for sale only as prints, new paintings are being completed and the originals will be inially offered for purchase through this site before being transfered to a Gallery for display and sale.

The English Rose Genevieve An English Rose

"Genevieve climbed to a high point on a rock at Dillan Beach. Having found a spot out of the January wind, she faced the sun and closed her eyes."

This painting is on display at MEsh Art Gallery in Sebastopol, CA for a limited period commencing November 2007

"If I should die, think only this of me:
That there's some corner of a foreign field
That is for ever England. There shall be
In that rich earth a richer dust concealed;
A dust whom England bore, shaped, made aware,
Gave, once, her flowers to love, her ways to roam,
A body of England's, breathing English air,
Washed by the rivers, blest by suns of home. "

Exerpt from Rupert Brooke's "The Soldier"

Natalie Natalie
Natalie. Always smiling and displaying an incredible head of hair. Very beautiful and unassuming. A pleasure to be able to show her portrait in the CCArt gallery. The original photo was a candid shot when she was having a loony moment with a friend, although arm in arm and head to head she was isolated in 'Knockout', enhanced in photoshop, and then drawn in several different graphic programs. Her hair was left as 'Blocks' to help maintain the hair volume.

Hugh Jago A Self Portrait
Strange. Regardless of time and gravity this is the face I expect every one else to see. Sadly my own eyes won't deceive me.

Piers 1 A Soldier on leave
This is Piers. Getting ready to face the world.

Keaton GRRRRrrrrrrrrrr - Keaton
Here is Keaton. As can be seen from the original photo she was growling like tiger; curling her hands like claws. The drawing was intended to show her as the extrovert she is.

Rough Draft2 Rough Draft
The initial line drawing is being over painted. The patches of color were intended to provide a rough guideline of what the painter was going to be aiming for. Although she appears to be asleep, she was in fact sunbathing. The Sun Goddess is the working title, and the shadow below hew chin was intended to give the whole picture an Egyptian feel.

Bodega Head Bodega Head
This painting was commissioned by a lover of coastal art. The background is nearing completion, whilst the foreground is still in block form waiting to be broken down into the smaller and more identifiable scree found on cliffs. The final work will include two walkers at the top of the cliff walk to give a perception of size to the viewer. To date there are some 750 vectors involved and will be close to 2000 by the time the painting is finished.

Models Portraits
The original portrait was of an Asian girl. The girl on the right has a slightly different eye formation and lighting.

Old Lady Beautiful
I found the original photo on the web and was inspired by the subject. I then took the original and made two drawings each one an attempt at an earlier time in her life. I never changed the eyes. I never had to.

Piers 3 Pride
May his God keep him safe.
